<p>Don’t miss this one-night engagement of Verdi’s thrilling masterpiece. In the lands of ancient Egypt, commander Radamès must choose between his love for the Ethiopian princess Aida and his loyalty to his sovereign king. In this specially staged concert, <em>Aida</em> will captivate audiences with its heartrending arias, dramatic duets, and some of the most thrilling choral works ever to be performed.</p>
<p>BLO Music Director <strong>David Angus</strong> takes the helm of this production that features <strong>Michelle Johnson</strong> as Aida, <strong>Diego Torre</strong> as Radamès, <strong>Alice Chung</strong> as Amneris, <strong>Morris Robinson</strong> as Ramfis, and <strong>Brian Major</strong> as Amonasro. The Boston Lyric Opera Orchestra and Chorus perform Verdi’s thrilling score and join with Boston’s choral community, including the Back Bay Chorale, for the monumental Act Two Triumphal March.</p>

<h4>When does the theatre open before the show?</h4>
<p>Unless otherwise noted, lobby doors will open one hour prior to the performance and the auditorium doors will open 30 minutes prior to each performance. Please arrive 45 minutes prior to the start of the performance to allow time for bag inspection and security check.</p>
<h4>Is late seating allowed?</h4>
<p>Late seating policies vary show-to-show. When allowed, latecomers will be seated at the discretion of management at an appropriate moment during the show. Guests will be notified ahead of time if late seating is not permitted for any performance.</p>
<h4>Can I leave the theatre and return during the performance?</h4>
<p>Guests entering the building must have their ticket with them at all times. Re-entry to the performance is at the discretion of each show and may be subject to holding times and/or refusal. Please check with an usher before leaving the performance.</p>

<p>Guests are required to comply with bag searching and security. Luggage and large bags will not be permitted. There is no location to check bags in the venue. Bags larger than standard backpack size of 22” x 14” x 9” will not be permitted into the venue. Outside food and beverage, including leftovers and restaurant to-go bags, is not permitted. If food is required due to a medical condition, please see a staff member for accommodations.</p>

<p>There are women’s rooms are located on the Orchestra level, Dress Circle, and Balcony. Men’s rooms are located on the Lower level, Dress Circle, and Balcony. There is a fully accessible Family/Gender Neutral restroom, complete with changing table accommodations, located on the Orchestra level. Emerson Colonial Theatre's policy is that all guests can use whatever restroom they are most comfortable using.</p>

You will find two bars on the ground floor as well as one on the second and third floors, for those seated in the Mezzanine or Balcony.</div>
