Moon Over Buffalo

On August 15, 1995, the pre-Broadway tryout of Ken Ludwig’s uproarious MOON OVER BUFFALO opened at the Colonial. Starring Carol Burnett, Philip Bosco and Randy Graff, it marked Burnett’s return to Broadway after 30 years.

Charlotte and George Hay are on tour in Buffalo in 1953 with a repertory consisting of Cyrano de Bergerac (the "revised, one nostril version") and Noel Coward's Private Lives, when they receive word that they might just have one last shot at stardom.

The play went on to open on Broadway on October 1, 1995, where it ran until June of 1996.
