COVID-19 Update

The well-being of our patrons, staff, crew, and artists is of utmost importance to the Emerson Colonial Theatre and Ambassador Theatre Group.

By attending an event at the Emerson Colonial Theatre, all patrons are acknowledging their consent to, and agree to abide by, the safety precautions that have been adopted.

All patrons 12 and older are required to show proof that they have been fully vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine approved for emergency use by the FDA or WHO to enter the theatre.

Acceptable methods for providing proof of COVID-19 vaccination are your physical CDC Vaccination Card or a photo of your card.

Children under the age of 12 may attend performances when accompanied by an adult that meets the vaccination requirements through Sunday, February 20.

Beginning Monday, February 21, all patrons 5-11 must present proof of having received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine approved for emergency use by the FDA or WHO in addition to all patrons 12 and older needing to present proof that they are fully vaccinated to enter the theatre.

Beginning Sunday, May 1, all patrons 5 and older must present proof of being fully vaccinated with a COVID-19 vaccine approved for emergency use by the FDA or WHO to enter the theatre.

All patrons are required to wear face masks at all times inside the venue, except when actively consuming food or beverages. Acceptable face masks do not include bandanas, gaiters, or any face mask with a vent. Venue management reserves discretion over determining whether a face mask is acceptable. Face masks will be made available for patrons that do not arrive at the venue with an acceptable face mask.

Be sure to check individual show pages for additional information about the specific performance you are attending. Ticket holders should also refer to the specific protocols set forth in “Know Before You Go” pre-show email communications from the Emerson Colonial Theatre.

Please note that government mandates and all venue protocols are subject to change. Other COVID-19 related health protocols may be in effect at the time of your performance, which may include, without limitation, patron temperature checks, testing, proof of vaccine, confirmation of prior travel to restricted areas and/or confirmation of no known symptoms of and exposure to COVID-19. We reserve the right to make changes to health protocols according to updated public health guidance and applicable law. Current safety protocols are posted on our website. Check back prior to your performance for the latest information.
